To give a description of something we can use
look + adjective

Or
look like + noun
:

Predictions
To express what may happen in the near future we can use
look like + going to + base verb
.

it's going to rain. The market
looks like
it's going to fall.
Appearance
Or to express how something appears use
it looks like + subject + present progressive
, or
it looks like + subject + adjective
.

looks like
she's stealing something. It
looks like
she's crying.

Questions are more flexible.
>>What does your friend look like? She's short and blonde.
>>What does the house look like? It's blue with white trim.
These questions talk about physical description. We do not use the word
look
in the answer.

These questions evaluate something. Here we can use the word

in the answer.
