To form a question in the
present perfect

These questions usually imply that if the answer to the question is
no
, the event will happen at some time.

You haven't been to the new restaurant yet, but you may go sometime in the future.

You haven't met George yet, but you will meet him at sometime in the future.

Has Nicholas kissed
Claire?
Nicholas hasn't kissed Claire yet, but he will (or will try to) at sometime in the future.
