This activity is recommended for classes in which students already know each other. It's a great start to a course, since it allows you to get ideas and feedback from your students.
Make copies of the activity below and hand them out to your students. Have them spend some time thinking about what they expect from the class and what they'd like to do during the year in class. They can fill out the forms anonymously if they wish to. Promise them that you will review each response and will do at least one of the things that each person suggested!
