Activity: Why Are You Learning English?

Level: Intermediate-advanced
Materials: Copies of the printout


Start the class by writing the following sentence on the board: Why are you learning English? Copy and hand out the activity below. Ask students to check the sentences that apply to them. Then, have students introduce themselves one by one. They should say which reasons they checked and explain why.
