Activity: Five Words Level: Intermediate-Advanced Materials: None Ask students to say words that they like. They can be anything. Encourage creativity. Write five of them on the board. Try to include names, verbs, and adverbs. For instance: funny, hippopotamus, calendar, dirty, to fly. Ask students to write a short story that includes each of the five words on the board. Tell them to let their imagination run free. You can also have students write other types of text, such as a news article, a joke, an essay, a poem, and so on. Read the stories to the class and vote for the best one. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
