Last-minute Trip to San Blas
Imagínate (Imagine): You're an English tourist in Panama City. As you are wandering around el Casco Viejo, the charming colonial section of town, you meet an Italian woman. Her face glows as she talks about visiting the Caribbean islands of San Blas. She tells you of fabled white sandy beaches, of eating turtle stew, and of talking to indigenous people who sell coconuts for a living. You want, need to go.
El problema (the problem): It's Monday, 3:45pm, and your flight home is on Wednesday afternoon. The flights for San Blas leave every morning at 6AM. Can you make it? All the money you have left is your emergency native currency (pounds) left in your wallet. The banks close at 4pm and they will not be open before the flight in the morning! You have to change the pounds into dollars right now. Can you do it? White, sandy beaches and transparent waters are waiting for you...

Wait! You forgot about your friend who's broke! That's right! She spent all her money on molas, and is left with just $20 for the remainder of your trip. You had told her yesterday that you would pick her out of anybody in the world to share a deserted island with... So, do you stay in Panama for the last day with your friend, or lounge in a Caribbean paradise eating coconuts?
San Blas or no, you completed our Challenge of being able to change your money; ¡Felicidades!
