Varun Bedi is a founder and co-CEO of Parlo Inc. Before founding Parlo, Mr. Bedi worked at McKinsey & Co., an international management consulting firm, where he led teams addressing internet marketing and strategy, particularly for the media and entertainment industries. Previous to McKinsey, Mr. Bedi worked at JP Morgan, where he was an investment banker specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Bedi also co-founded Inzen Inc., an import-export firm based in New York specializing in Asian food products. In addition, Mr. Bedi has worked at Sony International Television, where he analyzed new channel opportunities in Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Mr. Bedi is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Haverford College, magna cum laude. He speaks English, French, Hindi, Spanish, and Punjabi, and has also studied Russian and Mandarin Chinese.
Anish Rajparia is a founder and co-CEO of Parlo Inc. Before starting Parlo, Mr. Rajparia was a management consultant at McKinsey, where he focused on the telecommunications, technology, and financial sectors. Mr. Rajparia has also authored several internal research papers on Internet strategy and valuation. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Rajparia worked at Xerox Business Services, where he contributed to the then nascent division's growth through his roles in sales, pricing, and marketing. During his tenure at XBS, Mr. Rajparia was responsible for developing a value-based pricing methodology and leading the global marketing efforts for Latin America. Mr. Rajparia has also worked for the satellite channel distribution operations of the Modi Entertainment Group. Mr. Rajparia is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Duke University, where he received a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. Mr. Rajparia speaks English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, and Gujurati.
Martin Kahn is the Chairman of Parlo Inc. He has founded and led a string of successful startups in the Internet, media, and educational fields. Mr. Kahn's most recent successes include OneSource (NSDQ: ONES), a Web-based financial information provider which just completed a successful IPO, and Ovid Technologies, an online medical information company. Mr. Kahn has previously worked for McGraw-Hill as GM of its Health Professions division and at CBS. He sits on the boards of fourthchannel, a provider of e-commerce software and services, VistaInfo (NSDQ: VINF), a geographic risk real estate information provider, and Metropolitan Teaching & Learning Company, an educational publisher. Mr. Kahn is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Yale University. |
